Handpull cask from Broood @ VinQuatre, Leicester. Reddish brown,clear with little head but some intermittent lacing. Malt, leather, stone fruit and sweat in the aroma. Rough taste: boozy, bittersweet and metallic. There's almost a meaty note in the finish, with some guava arising in the bitterness of the aftertaste. An unbalanced tongue-coater.

Hand pull cask at Broood @ VinQuatre, Leicester. Brownish red with a full off-white head. Malt heavy aroma with some cherry, caramel and chocolate. Taste is a bit of a let-down, as the heaviness of the malt is countered by unbalanced bitter/sourness. Slight vegetal note in the finish. Medium oily body lifted by some natural carbonation. Not exciting.

Cask at the Leicester Beer Festival, 2018. Pours golden straw coloured with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of hop, citrus, flowers, grass and grapefruit. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Bitterness developing in the finish. Pretty good.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 11/2/2018. Golden in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. A touch of citrus hops, biscuity malts, sharp fruits and a dryish finish. Fine.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 11/2/2018. Pale amber in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. A malty bitter, with some weetabix notes, a hint of hedgerow fruits and leafy hops before a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2016 [ The 41th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 9th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Anstey Ale Packhorse Bridge ].Light unclear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity malt, nutty, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, fruity malt, nutty, earthy, caramel.
