Sampled at the roost pours a clear brown with some creamy, Grey head. Nose has soggy crackers and bread, malt and yeast, something earthy lurking. Flavor has caramelized carrots, malt, some sumac, yeast, definitely some spice, like nutmeg. Dry finish, earthy. 7 4 7 3 13

Bottle. Brown with a medium beige head that soon receded to a film. The aroma is plums, wood, something herbal/spicy and a small whiff of alcohol. The taste has tart plums in the forefront with raisins, grape juice and some balsamic vinegar showing up a bit later. The palate was full and smooth. Finished long with lingering grapes. Overall: Decent, not as sour as I expected, and rather surprised to see this was classified by RB as a traditional ale. Enjoyable fer sure

33cl bottle pours a clear gold with some white head. Nose has lime and candy and grape, lipstick. Flavor has some vinegar and grape and lipstick, malt and candy. Finishes with some acid and a little heat.

33cl bottle pours a dark, rootbeer brown with some grey head. Nose is nice, smoke and brown sugar, peat, yeast, some rubber. Flavor is sweet and malty, brown sugar, peat, rubber, crackers, some smoked almonds. Finishes with some heat. Booze? Smokey and malty on the end too. Cool.

Nice florals and grape skins. Some Foeder barrel. Golden amber pour with good head. Light tangy finish. Easy drinking and pleasant all around. Bottle.
