Bottle from Benny’s Place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky medium brown colour, with a lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is yeasty, dry. The flavour is moderate sour, with a smooth, somewhat light, crisp, dry, yeasty, bretty, spicy, fruity citrus palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Great example of the style.

440ml can. Beer pours a clear pale gold with a small white head. The aroma is huge, a sweet honey & floral hit with maybe a hint of light malt. The beer is like the aroma but toned down; flora with honey & floral flavours over a mild malt base. It is off dry but nowhere near as sweet as it smells. Interesting & a pleasant summer drink but there is not a lot of "beer" here apart from the fact that it is brewed.

Can, 2 days past bb. Amber, a good cm of white head. Aroma of toffee, spices, some autumnal fruit. Rich toffee malt for under 5% with a late stinging peppery bitterness. These folks are a bit pricey in Australia but everything I've tried has impressed.

Can. Red brown with an excessive pale beige head. Aroma is spicy and floral with bread. 7+ Fairly light bodied with strong rye bread before a lovely grassy and spicy bitter finish. Good.

(Can) Pours clear deep brown with good rather loose tan head. Nice aroma with some complexity to it. There’s good fruity notes and some smokiness. Light body with bright carbonation. Taste does not live up to the aroma. There’s a dark roast taste with little sweetness or bitterness or other interest than a bit of fruity tartness at the start. It’s refreshing and perfectly drinkable but a little one dimensional.

Can. Golden amber with a white head of around a cm. Aroma of citrus travel lollies, some tropical fruit, light bread. Moderately sweet and a bit more than medium bodied. Citrus and some tropical fruit ooze out of the malt, are joined by some resin towards a bitter finish that struggles at first but isn't mucking about.
