Hazy golden coloured body with a pure honey glow and rich, large, five to six centimetre tall pure white and rather soapy head. Aroma of mangoes (duh!), light orange and curacao along with a dose of subdued grain from the malt with more fruit elements showing the papaya and a little passionfruit funk as well. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong mango flavour with a lot of fruits and grain along with some lighter yeast and herbal notes, but this is all about the fruit, but especially the mangoes. Aftertaste shows a very subdued and wheatie malt backbone that makes this very easy to drink and have minimal pungency, but the yeast flavours still show through a tiny bit and also leave a touch of grain noticeable on the finish. Overall, a nice and very mango-y beer that is easy-to-drink, refreshing and lightly tart all at the same time. Nice to sample and well worth trying to find, especially if you like mangoes! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 24-February-2018 for US$2,00 sampled in my hotel room here in New York on 26-February-2018

Can - Nice coffee roast, bit burnt but still good. Jet brown black with a small white head. Dark chocolate, nice roast and a pleasant chocolate mocha finish. Solid.

Waxed, capped 750 from Craft Beer Kings. Pours clear bright cherry with a transient off-white head. Lots of raspberry with a touch of musty wood for aroma. Med body. Flavor is a stand-off between raspberry and tequila with underlying wood notes. Not all that sour, but pretty tasty. Easy to down.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 9/14/2017. Pours slightly hazy deep reddish brown color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big hazelnuts, caramel, brown sugar, and toasted brown bread; with lighter notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toffee, vanilla, dark fruit, herbal, grass, and toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/bready/light roast malts, hazelnut flavor, and mild earthy hop/yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of big hazelnuts, caramel, brown sugar, and toasted brown bread; with lighter notes of milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toffee, vanilla, dark fruit, herbal, grass, and toasted earthiness. Mild herbal/grassy hop and roast bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of hazelnuts, caramel, brown sugar, toasted brown bread, milk chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toffee, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready/light roast malts, hazelnut flavor, and mild earthy hop/yeast flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 5.5%. Overall this is an awesome English brown ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready/light roast malts, hazelnut flavor, and mild earthy hop/yeast flavors; extremely smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter finish. Nicely rich malt complexity with balanced hazelnut flavors; mild earthy hop balance against sweetness. Not overly roasty. Not overdone on any aspect. A really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

12oz can. 7 months old...so not really booming fresh. Frothy white head, unfiltered yellow-tan body. Soapy, rindy citrus tones. Medium bodied, easy drinking. Zesty Simcoe Golden Ale. A pretty OK beer. holds up better than a lot of others.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a large fizzy white head. Aroma is a neutral lager malt with some citrus, Flavor is a light lager malt with some lime and a bit of heat well after the swallow hits you. They made a Corona with the lime already added. Kind of.

10th Jan 2018, just walked my grand daughters dog in the Californian sun for an hour, sometimes a cheap supermarket beer is what you need, so a 12 oz of this into a La Chouffe glass on the patio is my desire. Hazy golden body, white head. Hop centric brew, piney and resin like in nature. Not bad at all for the price.
