Bottle, 2.8%. The aroma is mostly yeasty, but there is also a hint of banana. Hazy brown colour. Big stable, lacy head. The flavour is a lot like dark wheat beer soda water, which it probably is. Hint of malt and banana, slightly sweet note. The finish is boring, but not unpleasant.

50cl bottle @ Rasthof, Munchen. Pours hazy orange/golden with a creamy lasting white foam & giant sediments floating around. Opens with a large pop - foam everywhere. Aroma is herbal & spicy. Coriander & wheat. Ok mouthfeel. Mainly herbs & medicine/cardboard flavor. Quite muddy around all edges. One dimensional & really just not my thing!

Test vom 14.1.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,9,7,9,11,9 - 8,70

Very huge, fine & dense yellow head over yellow-golden beer with a light greenish shine; not very yeast-laden. Perfumey, even soapy, very estery - mainly citrus; toasted grains ("honey puffs") and some garden weeds. Again toasted, fruity and very estery in the taste. Like some lively muesli with half-dried fruits, and inadvertently lemonade poured in, ’stead of milk. Reads worse than it is. Wheat acidity, fortified by the lively & fine carbonation, making it quite spritzy. Better than average Helles Weizen.

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Cloudy yellow, small creamy head. Light banana aroma. Fairly light bodied with spritzy mouthfeel. Light flavoured with notes of wheat malt and faint banana esters. Freshening but shallow. Should work as a summer beer.
