Wow that's crazy different, not much of a nose but plenty of mapley sweet coffee upfront. Hard to tell where the rum is except on the finish where you get a lingering barrel shot glass kinda vibe. But it's definitely close to cloying sweet. Gnarly still

I don't know where this come from, or why I have it, but I can't wait to taste this pounder can. I am a cheap pale lager lover by craft trade. Forget effen IPA. Yes, it is bland and it is civilized like any good domestic cheap pale lager should be. It also has a crisp pale lager nose, how bout that? Who likes a brew that's in yer face? Not me, the great american lager lover. This stuff is good, this stuff is satisfying and this stuff is friendly; what else can be said? Its good and its thirst quenching, thank you. The color? Cum now; its a cheap pale lager. What else would it be but the obvious clear light yellow, with lots of showing co2, pale bubbly eye? You got it babe. Fresh, easy, nice and peazy. What else can be said, reprized? Especially since it won't knock your head off with an overly abundant ABV content? There you have it. A simple decent drinkin pale lager for enjoying a hot summer day. Yummy. Could even cut a couple of acres of lawn grass with this brew.

16oz can from Woodland. Near black pour with silky, swirly brown head. Boozy, sweet, sugary aroma, hint of maple. Taste is sweet, cocoa, maple syrup and a pleasant burn. Sweet, chocolaty notes linger with a nice alcohol glow. They've done it again. Awesome stuff!

22oz bomber sat on for 4-5 years. Held up quite well. I believe I rate a freshish one in the backlog somewhere. Thick brown-amber body, oily yellowed head. Big, sugary, deep red fruit tones. True to style with a pleasant carbonation. Not on the same level as Belgian classics, but an enjoyable beer nonetheless.
