Description
Living Häus Beer Co is a lager-forward brewery located in the Pacific Northwest city of Portland, OR and is co-owned by Conrad Andrus and Mat Sandoval. With a combined 20 years of professional brewing experience, we have become creators, engineers, scientists, artists, and critical thinkers while on our path to brew the best beers we can. We are proud to showcase our ability in our craft with the self awareness to know that we are always learning and growing.
WHAT DO WE MAKE?
We aim to make clean, intentional, and curious beers in our brewery. Explorative, yet refined versions of classic and upcoming styles such as Lager beer, IPA, Stouts, sessionable, restrained fruited beers, and everything in between will have a home on our menu. We strive to use unique and expressive hand selected malts and hops from the best growing regions in the world.
HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?
We are different because our collective and unique experiences have driven us to the cutting edge of the beer industry. Through our exploration of styles and ingredients, we have developed our ability to make beers that are extreme but have more so learned to make beers that are balanced, nuanced, and delicious.

Can shared at Johnny's turns 30 ad hoc beer celebration. Clear pale golden color, small white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, old school hops, Aroma a little bit over the top but the flavor is really nice. Very solid.

Can shared at Johnny's turns 30 ad hoc beer celebration. Bright yellow golden color, average sized white head. Aroma is lightly malts, very hoppy, crisp, very pleasantly hoppy a little bit old school. Flavor is malts, crisp, again pleasantly hoppy with old school hops and a very good hoppy bitterness. Decent to medium body and carbonation.

Aromas are resin, mint, floral and malt. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose. Add in toffee and wet grain. Not especially happy. Good body and carbonation. A little bitter in the finish. Decent beer but not great.

Rating this is a bit of a conundrum here - as a traditionally brewed cream ale or what it is. Aromas are malt, floral and lemon. Flavors are similar to nose, bittersweet. Good body and carbonation. To me it's more similar to an APA then a cream ale.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear ruddy amber with a transient head. Aroma of amberish malt with citrus hop. Med body or so. Bitter enough so that it doesn't seem dry. Maybe it was heading for a red IPA. Good flavor. Gets some pine to go with the citrus. Amber malt isn't obscured tho.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear brassy gold with a white creamy head that declined to persist. Ciitrus aroma. Arguably med body. Surprisingly bitter. Quite dry. Flavor is very citrus, with hints of grapefruit pith. Nice flavor.
