Can shared in London - many thanks to Tips. Pours lightly unclear yellow-gold with a creamy, whtie head. Pretty dank, lightly sweet, quite bitter, some pine. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sturdy bitterness in the finish, moderate citrus character. Good stuff.

Thanks to Tips for the can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth light malts, a light creamy sweetness. Light pine. Decent juicy citrus, fresh orange and milky spicy tangerine. An mild undertone of mango sweetens. Light finish. Tidy, light and drinkable.

Got in a trade with larryi86. 750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled in 7/2019. Pours fairly hazy deep reddish orange/copper/amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy red/black cherry, cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, raisin, plum, fig, peach, pear, apricot, lemon, lime, orange, red/green apple, red currant, red grape/wine, toasted oak, hay, straw, grass, caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, and biscuit; with lighter notes of peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, and yeast/oak/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, wine barrels, and dark/bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge sour/tart/tangy red/black cherry, cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, raisin, plum, fig, peach, pear, apricot, lemon, lime, orange, red/green apple, red currant, red grape/wine, toasted oak, hay, straw, grass, caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, and biscuit; with lighter notes of peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, and yeast/oak/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tart/sourness, Brett tang, and yeast/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy red/black cherry, cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, raisin, plum, fig, peach, pear, apricot, lemon, lime, orange, red/green apple, red currant, red grape/wine, toasted oak, hay, straw, grass, caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, biscuit, peppercorn, leathery/musty/lacto funk, and yeast/oak/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, wine barrels, and dark/bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt, sour, tart, tangy, spiciness balance; with no pucker/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering sour/tart/tangy/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is a fantastic Flanders red ale. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic/spicy yeast, wine barrels, and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Great soft feel and not overly lactic/tannic. Fantastic balance of well rounded Brett/Bacteria complexity, wine barrel presence/integration, and dark/bready malts against acidity. Mild residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy/tannic dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding spot on style example.

Can at a mini-RB gathering in November. Poured a clear golden color with a small white head. Aroma was tropical fruits, light sweet malts. Alcohol notes were pretty powerful. Light bitterness.

Got in a trade with larryi86. 16 ounce can into lager glass, canned on 5/28/2019. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy pale golden straw color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart lemon, lime, leaves, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, cracker, white bread dough, wood, peppercorn, pine, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of kaffir lime leaf, lime juice, citrus/fruity hops, and moderate pale malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big lightly tart lemon, lime, leaves, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, cracker, white bread dough, wood, peppercorn, pine, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, leaves, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, cracker, white bread dough, wood, peppercorn, pine, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of kaffir lime leaf, lime juice, citrus/fruity hops, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness and tart/tangy fruit balance. Slight lingering kaffir lime leaf astringency after the finish, but not overwhelming. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal yeasty notes. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness, tart/tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and sticky/peel/rind/acid/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is good. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is a very nice fruited pale lager. All around nice robustness and balance of kaffir lime leaf, lime juice, citrus/fruity hops, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/tart/tangy/drying finish; not overly aggressive/bitter. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Very well balanced kaffir lime leaf, lime juice, and Huell Melon hop flavors; with a nice clean pils malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made experimental style example. Just wish it was less sharp and gritty on the kaffir lime leaf.
