Many thanks to travlr for this bottle! Grainy sweetish beginning. Moderate bitter, grainy neutral bitter with a moderate sweetness. Interesting bitter-sweet combination with grainy aroma there. Ok.

Pale golden colored, clear, small non lasting white head. Aroma of some malt, mostly adjunct, corn and metal. Taste is medium sweet malt, corn, adjuncts, metal, apple, low+ grassy bitterness. Light bodied, average carbonation.

Thanks kajser for sharing this with us! Golden body, big white head. Dusty as fuck apple/herbal messy aroma, malty. Empty taste dusty as fuck, very weak maltiness, somewhat dry finish. Almost no aftertaste, thankfully, peachy note from some adjunct or the other. Em... smooth? Not the most godawful tropical lager you’ll find but still nope.

Bottle from Dan Murphy’s in Australia, brought to UK by Vinnie. Country #102. Pours a pale gold colour with a thin white head. Sweet malt aroma, sweet taste. Very light body. Medium carbonation. No aftertaste, just a bit too sweet.

Bottle courtesy of Cantabrian, thank you sir! Pours crystal clear golden yellow, fluffy white headwith good retention. Aroma of white pepper and straw. Taste is plain and lager-like. No real faults. Not a bad developing country lager.

A yellow beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is of plastic, grass, and hops. The flavor is of plastic and grass. Probably better in its original setting than a winters night in Denmark.

Ok, so you don't go to PNG to drink beer. Chew betelnut maybe, but not drink beer. Good thing, too, as this hazy light gold lager has a rather nasty aroma, like the pit toilets at the end of the Garoka Show. All sewage and garbage. Sour blackberry and more garbage round out this problematic offering. Heineken should invest in some quality control.

Bottled. Reading the previous comments on this beer I expected something offensive. What I found was a pale orange hazy beer with big crystal malt character. It was sweet and clean with low bitterness, and no obvious flaws. I could only wish my local swill was as pleasant as the Papuan is...
