Description
Rascals Brewing was founded in 2014 by Emma Devlin and Cathal O’Donoghue.
The pair were living and working in New Zealand and developed a taste and passion for the booming Kiwi craft beer industry. In the spirit of adventure, they decided to change careers entirely and set up their own craft brewery back home in Dublin. Sure, why not?

Gravity cask at the 2017 Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival. Bright gold, clear with a thin and uneven white head. Apricots, bananas, soft citrus and a touch of caster sugar in the aroma. Tastes sweter than I'd have imagined with a slight soapy note near the finish. Aftertaste of melon, more banana and some peach. Decent if not life-changing.

Clear red amber appearance. Aroma and flavour remind me of West Coast Red IPA's with some caramelised malt sugars and delicate floral hops.

At a tasting, thanks, medium stable bubbly head, clear palish yellow color, fruity shrubby aroma with just a hint of sweat, shrubby, yeasty, flowery flavor, light and a little soapy bitterness. Nice, easy and enjoyable.

Can sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks Tom L. Clear yellow. Fruity, hoppy, light funky hint in the aroma, earth, spiciness, quite dry, a bit citric, bitterish finish. Nice and refreshing.
