Bottle, 75cl. It’s a more or less black one, at least very dark brown, mostly clear, with a dense, finger-thick dark beige head. The aroma is roasted, with dark sugars and a faint funky touch. Some raisins. It’s more or less full-bodied and with a nice carbonation level. Roasted malts, lemony funkyness and some bonfire notes and dark berries. Really nice this one, both tasteful and moreish. 141220

Bottle - Funky brett, soured wheat and lemon. Cloudy light gold. Nice light tartness throughout, citrus and some light woody notes. Very nice and easy drinking, not sure it is worth the price though.

Bottle @ home, thanks to readbaron. This beer rocks! Hazy golden orange appearance with a thin white head. The carbonation is a bit dull but this is an otherwise great beer. There’s a massive amount of bubblegum, pineapple / tropical fruit brett, and candy in the nose. Some moderate acidity - both lactic and acetic. Some cheese, lots of tropical fruit, mango, passion fruit, and pineapple. There’s vanilla and oak in there as well. Moderately tart. Tons of candy. Low bitterness and sweetness. If the carbonation was higher, this would be a 4.5-4.6. Supremely chuggable. JesusOfCO- this is what you should be aiming for. Fuck yeah.

Bottle @ home, big thanks to Baron for sending! Initial pour is a clear golden appearance with an off white head. The aroma is fucking awesome. Twangy, tropical fruit Brett, some funk, pineapple, mango, and some bubblegum. Carbonation seems a bit dull but the flavor is otherwise nice. Lots of papaya, peach, pineapple, and passion fruit in the flavor. Light wood and brett. Super juicy and refreshing. Light acidity. Great fucking beer.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 12/10/2013. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep orange copper color with a 2-3 finger dense and fluffy off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Spotty foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of tart green apple, lemon zest, orange peel, pear, clove, pepper, hay, straw, grass, oak, musty funk, bread, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, oak, and pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of tart green apple. lemon zest, orange peel, pear, clove, pepper, oak, hay, straw, grass, herbal, musty funk, bread, and yeast/mineral earthiness. Good amount of earthy tartness/spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of green apple, lemon zest, orange peel, pear, clove, pepper, oak, hay, straw, grass, musty funk, bread, herbal, and yeast/mineral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, oak, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. High carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly prickly/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent Belgian pale ale. All around great complexity and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, oak, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
