(Can) Pours very hazy golden amber with small white head. Lovely aroma of pine, tangy fruit, and creamy hints. Medium body with lively fine carbonation. Pleasant taste. Light and fruity with citrus and notes of stone fruit. There’s a subtle creaminess. The bitterness is very restrained but pleasant. Very pleasant, but rather feels as though it is pulling its punches.

(Can) Pours deep brown with short-lived tan head. Lovely aroma. Roast grain and banana with toffee notes. Good mouthfeel with slightly sticky medium body and modest bright carbonation. The taste is sweet especially in the finish. There’s some nice dark roast notes, providing some balance, especially at the start. Toffee and banana notes, especially in mid palate. Very nice, if a little sweet.

(Can) Pours clear ruddy brown with tiny tan head. Lovely aroma of pine with citrus notes. Slick medium body with fine carbonation. Good rich taste. There’s a backbone of toffee malt. A hoppy bitterness is also present throughout the palate, gaining prominence at the end with a nice bitter finish. There’s are fruity notes in the start and middle. Very enjoyable.

(Can) Pours hazy yellow with loose white head. Lemon aroma. Light body, well carbonated. Lemon, pine, some biscuit malt and some gentle hop bitterness in the finish. Unexceptional but very drinkable.

From a 440ml can on 28/8/2022. Pours a clear deepish golden with a medium head. Has a really strong and pleasant coffee nose. Tastes of sharp citrus fruit with a big coffee hit. Has firm herbal, resiny, bitter hops at the back. The mouthfeel is oily, the carbonation moderate. An intense and impressive coffee IPA.

From a 440ml can on 17/2/2021. Pours a murky medium golden with a small to medium head. The nose is fruity, grassy and herbal. Tastes sweet up front with lots of tropical and stone fruit, followed by a strong, herbal bitterness, which has a slight chemical note at the back. The latter is my only real knock against the beer. The mouthfeel is slick, the carbonation moderate. A pretty good and quite intense big hazy.

From a 330ml bottle on 12/10/2020. Pours a hazy deep golden with a small head. Has a slightly sharp, dank aroma. It starts with some medium sweet citrus and stone fruit, leading to a sharp, quite tangy bitterness which lingers. The mouthfeel is slick, the carbonation moderate. I've been pretty impressed with Five Barrel gear to date, but this one's just okay and a little bit unfocused.

Really bold flavor, doesn’t taste like a typical milk stout at all.
