A very good example of a mild dunkel from the old country. This pounder can pours a very good looking attractive brew. Has a malty fun nose and a mild easy flavor to follow up the olfactory. Fun, easy drinken beer. I like this, Its a good example of how friendly a can of dark beer can be. I'm thinking something like yuengling's black and tan or its porter. Just an overall good euro style Bavarian stuff. I need a case of these things for easy drinking. Could I spend to buy? Too bad a case of 24 costs me $75 bucks. Could get a case of pounder yingy B&T for about four times less, no shit; but just as effective on the satisfactory scale.

From a $3 pounder can this stuff is oktoberfest looking with a slight haze. Taste is fairly mild fest beir with civility compared to may marzens I've had with suggesting rudeness. Quit nice, but considering the source was hoping for a tad of widleness about it. You know creature, you advertise wild shit. However, even with a lack of wild fermenting, this stuff is pretty good. It fairly simpy, even tho faust doesn't seem to be incorporated here. Decent all round oktoberfest brew that hides its alky content well. Good overall, better than expected, marzen experience thank you. You know, perhaps in the end, I do detect a faint hint of wildness on the very last swig? Just asking.

Sample during the Collaboration Beers On Deck 3! event on 06/16/2020. Cloudy reddish-copper color with a medium thick frothy pinkish-white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Citrus, berry, wheat and malt aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of tart berry, citrus, wheat and doughy malt. The finish is fruity with a raspberry and citrus aftertaste. Above average overall.

Funky yeast, oak, fruit and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly funky yeast, oak, fruity hops and malt. The finish is funky and oaky with a yeast and malt aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

On tap at Nobel Creature. Pours a hazy light straw with a thin head and aromas like a lemon drop. Flavor is that lemony edge with some sweetness and not a lot else that holds my attention. It is good and refreshing...not heavy at all.

On the menu my tap version said it was made with cranberries and raspberries. Smell is so good and it looks so good with its pink and cloudy eye. Creamy head. Fun from the start, the co2 is simply cutting. Civilized even berliner and I like it. Fruit is there but it never gets in the way. Well balanced and it really hist the spot. Just a very nice easy fun brew that I could drink a gallon of. Thanks NC for this sample, it was a really great beer starting experience.

Slight haze on pale. Smell of spiced holiday brew. Mild, yet the spices really stick out. Probably one of the more balanced and well behaved christmas brews I've had lately, not bad.
