375ml split pours a dark , murky brown with a thick cap of beige head. Nose has malt, soggy bread, caramel, nuts, roasted root veg. Flavors same with mushroom and roasted root veg. Full bodied, funky finish. Tannins. Old world stuff. 7 5 7 4 14

Draught @ Grand Delancey. Clear dark brown with red highlights, small frothy dark beige head, sharp fruity aroma, low carbonation, initially sweet malty taste with dried red fruits, oak and bit of alcohol bite, thin body, long medium bitter finish. Very smooth barleywine.

Pint can thanks to hershiser2! 8/21/22. Clear dark red, large frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toast, earthy hops. Taste is earth, cherry, anise, toffee. Slick, a bit thin. Good balance. Nice beer.
