Draught @ City Hops, Manhattan (Sept 2024). Extremely hazy dark yellow, like orange juice, with a small foamy off-white head, faint citrus aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly bitter orangey taste with mango flavor, thin body, long finish. Nice flavor profile.

Draught, half pint, @Beer Run UWS, New York City (NY). 01/09/2024 [#7.720 Global - #1.571 United States of America - #1 Schenker Beer Company (My brewery #360 from the States)] Pours hazy pale yellow with a lasting white head. Aroma: peppery malts, spices and mixed grains. Taste: strong spiced leading to a peppery palate. Next one, please!

Undated can drunk 9/10/24. Heavily hazy, bronze-maize-golden. Large, off-white head, good retention. Nice and minerally with gentle sulphur, lots of earth and subtle, dank spice. Orange rind, kumquat, white grape and light star fruit linger alongside biscuity, rustic grains. Good aromatics, clean yeast, nothing resinous/twangy. Juicy, fruity, spicy, tons of tropical fruit. Very low bitterness with moderate malt character. White bread, biscuity, nutty wheat...Maybe a touch light on the maltiness/body overall. The texture is incredible on account of the oats and wheat, but the depth/richness suffers a bit. Love the mineral, sulfur, light white wine. Wouldn't hate a bit more spice and/or bitterness here.

Sample at the roost. Oily, leggy deep brown with no head. Nose has malt and vanilla and carob. Toast. Flavor is toasty some kahlua. Some vanilla. Real meh. Oily finish.

Can (3/25/24) pour shared by Steve. Opaque black with thin head quickly fading to a ring and no lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt and vanilla. Taste is strong delicious roasted malt and vanilla, fudge; late dark fruit as it warms. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Not a complex stout but delivers on roast and vanilla.

Can to glass. Ashy and slight chocolate aroma. Black with light brown head. Aroma is ash, vanilla hidden, and a muted matte to the beer.

Draught @ The Hoptimist, Manhattan (Nov 2023). Faintly cloudy amber with a small frothy beige head, faint malt aroma, high carbonation, bitter malt forward taste with grassy hops, thin body, long medium bitter finish. Not terribly remarkable.

Vanilla is well integrated and light here. Plenty of roast. Black pour with some foamy mocha head. Light bitter end with a little caramel. Soft carbonation. Tap at Shelter.
