Bottle from Appellation Wines. Cheers Ash! Pours opaque and lumpy orange yoghurt-like with an orange-white head. Aromas of funky mango at the front, light cardamom. Taste is more mango yoghurt, less cardamom. Thick texture, fruity finish.

Appearance - really thick yoghurt looking. Solid orange and lumpy with an orange-white head.
Nose - funky and mango at the front, then a hint of cardamom because I know to look for it.
Taste - more mango yoghurt, less cardamom this time.
Palate - creamy with a gentle tartness at the back.
Overall - good, despite initial appearances.

Appearance - cloudy yellow to orange and cloudy. White head.
Nose - earth, bread, toffee and citrus. Not sure I get chanterelles or actually what I should be looking for in terms of chanterelles in beer form.
Taste - more of the same.
Palate - texture, light to medium bodied, tangy and zesty finish.
Overall - quite like this.

330ml bottle from Aeble. Clear golden colour, white foam head and aroma of fruit, hops. Taste is sweet, fruity, malty, bready with some citrusy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying fruity bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

By Dookit's standards I'm actually a little disappointed by this. Not especially sharp and while there's clearly mango flavour the cardomom is maybe a touch too subtle and I'm not really getting kulfi vibes. Pleasant enough but I'd have just thought it was a mango beer of some sort.
