Tap at the Nusle fest. Aaah... the elusive Albín I'm fairly sure I never saw anywhere offered, despite knowing of its existence and adding it ages ago to the site. It had a goldenish-orangeish body, with a thick off white head. Grainy/malty notes in the aroma, sweetish, with a light fruity touch. Lean taste, vague fruity, some citric notes, ending with dry maltiness. Quite okay, it is what it is, a light summer ale without major flaws.

Bottle bought at Pivo, London. Aroma is malty, earthy, caramel and a tad sour. Cloudy medium brown. Thick foamy Foamy white head. Light bitter. Sour streak that gains prominence. Malty and vinous. Earthy. Berries. Light. Thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. The term artisanal springs to mind. No idea how big the brewery actually is but feels like a beer produced from the land. Whatever that actually means.

Bottle from Albert Butovice. Almost pitch black body, some vague amber tinge, lasting small thick tan head. Pleasant, smooth aroma, milk coffee, vague chicory, lightly soft and flowery, Lean taste, lean/dryish, coffee and light caramel, cookie and vague rose water, creamy, This is pretty hopped up really, as evidenced as well by a good bitter kick. Too thin perhaps, but overall very much likable!

Lahev (750ml, @Albert, Arkády Pankrác): As black as expected, nearly medium-sized stable brown creamy head, moderate sweet-bitter aroma of toasted malt, ashy traces underneath, caramel, freshly ground coffee and leather as well, shy herbal hops underneath; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, full bodied, proč ne, silky MF; lingering, more sweet than bitter, roasty and caramelly finish, increasing roasty bitterness in the aftertaste. Tramvaj 22, duležitá a známa tranvajová lnka v Praze, tramway 22, výborná várka v Praze...

Bottle from Albert Butovice. Slightly hazy amber-golden body, white head, medium retention. Grainy malty aroma, vague herbal undertones, or edges rather. Gets rougher grainy as it warms. Grainy malty taste, vaugely rougher, but also nice in a way. The 11°was, sadly, better in my opinion, this batch isn't that great.

Bottle, Albert Butovice. Amber body, white head, darked than expected. Hop-driven aroma, flowery hoppiness, soft, some soft maltiness, vague dry herbal finish. Flowery, hugely flowery taste, grainy maltiness, sweetish, light herbal undertones, lean, bitterish in the finish. Good stuff really, not 100% my type of pale lager, but this is very well made!
