Leftovers from the Sweden trip. Gold with a frothy, white head. An understated aroma offers grass, herbs, and a touch of lemon. Taste is bitter with hints of green tea. Faint, citric nuance. Goes down real easy. Finishes with a mild but lingering herbal bitterness and is increasingly citric. Good chewiness given the ABV, moderate carbonation, crisp, refreshing. Nice!

Caramely malty, piney and slightly fruity with some oakiness, wood, toffee, hints of bitterness and leathery vibes. Complex old skool oaky American barley wine. Surprisingly tasty.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, thanks tiong, at VastActiv, 20250530) The beer poured amber and clear. Small white head. Aroma had honey, wood, light whisky and toffee. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were honey, caramel, wood, light vanilla, nuts and bitterness. Aftertaste had wood, honey and bitterness. Delicious and balanced.

Flaska från SB. Aningen disig bärnstensfärgad vätska med en mycket stilig fluffig skumkrona. Mjuk munkänsla, lite mjölig med mycket maltiga och brödiga smaker, rejäl kropp med lite oump. Höiga och lite blommiga humletoneroch en lätt fruktig sötma med lite aprikos. Djupa smaker, fina nyanser, stiltypisk och harmonisk. Mycket gott. Jag är tacksam för att det bryggs sådan här öl i Sverige

Bottle shared at mini-tasting. Brown color, medium sized tan head. Aroma is kinda like Schlenkerla: rauch. Flavor is malts, rauch, distant chocolate-ish notes and roasted malts, dark malts. Very well balanced, very well brewed imo. Very nice!

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Dark brown, creamy head. Aroma of toast and dark sugar. Mid sweet with light to medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Dark sugar, rye bread. Low bitterness. Never lifts.
