Bottled at Tegnérs Gömställe, Stockholm. Pale amber, creamy head. Citric lychee aroma with some tangerine. Medium sweet with soft bready malt and some some spritzyness. Drier salty finish with medium bitterness. Pleasant malt profile. The hops gives some interesting aromas, but it is rather subdued.

Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68 Stockholm. Opaque black, rich beige head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Fairly sweet and near full bodied with soft mouthfeel. Strong chocolate mud cake flavour that keeps hops in the background. Some light tar shows up in the finish. A well balanced porter, packed with flavours, yet quite drinkable.

Bottled. Dark golden colour, small head. Aroma is alcohol, honey, citrus fruit and flowery hops. Flavour is hayish hops, along with sour fruits and some caramel balancing it up. Perfectly balanced and very fullpalated thing. Next big one from Närke?

Bottled. Hazy dark amber, small head. Lightly citric hop aroma with a touch of hay. Fairly sweet with a good solid body. Superb, soft chewy malt proile covered in a wealth of lychee, melon and grapefruit from the hops, with some interesting esters lying underneath. Lingering bitter finish. Absolutely superb beer - possible the best I’ve tasted from this brewer, and that is saying something...

[To celebrate my rating number 7500 - I choose the present number one beer, which I sampled at the RBESG 2006] A pitch black beer with a thick brown head. The aroma is very powerful with notes of malt, alcohol, chocolate, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is extremely sweet malty with lots of chocolate - bitter dessert chocolate that is, as well as notes of roasted malt, alcohol, and wood, also light notes of whiskey mixes in. The alcohol burns slightly in the throat. Nice one.
