Sample at Right Brain. Pour is a hazy orange and aromas are a delightful mix of mango, passion fruit, oranges and so on. Fruity hops are the thing here. Flavor is that with a resiny bite and some honey bun sweetness. Alcoholic warmth drives it home and finishes the beer out. Darn good one and this might be the growler fill that goes home with me.

22 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 9/10/2013. Pours slightly hazy dark brown color with a nice 2 finger dense tan head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of big caramel, chocolate, toast, toffee, molasses, nuttiness, brown bread, light roast, herbal, and toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/nutty malt notes; with good strength. Taste of caramel, chocolate, toast, toffee, molasses, nuttiness, brown bread, light roast, light herbal, and toasted earthiness. Minimal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, chocolate, toast, toffee, molasses, nuttiness, brown bread, light roast, and toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, balance, and robustness of dark/nutty malt flavors; with zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a moderately creamy and smooth mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent brown ale! All around great balance, complexity, and robustness of dark/nutty malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

16 ounce can into pint glass, no canning date. Pours moderately hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of lemon zest, tangerine, orange peel, floral, grass, bread, light caramel, light pine, and floral earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with very well balanced hop and malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon zest, tangerine, orange peel, floral, grass, pine, bread, light caramel, and floral earthiness. Good amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, floral, grass, pine, bread, light caramel, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and robustness of citrus/pine hops; with a moderate malt balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbontion and body; with a smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with no warming present after the finish as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a very nice session pale ale! Nice balance and robustness of hop and malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of lavender, lemon, pear, apple, wheat, bread, honey, floral, grass, ginger, light cinnamon, light clove, and herbal earthiness. Very nice and interesting aromas with good lavender, malt and light hop balance; with good strength. Taste of lavender, lemon, pear, apple, wheat, bread, honey, floral, grass, ginger, light cinnamon, clove, pepper, and herbal earthiness. Light floral/pepper bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, wheat, bread, honey, floral, light cinnamon, light clove, and pepper on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of lavender, malt, and light hop flavors; with nice robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a slightly creamy, smooth, and crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with no warming present on the finish. Overall this is a very nice spiced wheat ale! All around good balance and robustness of flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Aromas of orange zest, lemon zest, tangerine, mango, peach, pineapple, floral, grass, light pine, light caramel, bread, and floral earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good complexity of hop notes with a moderate malt balance; and good strength. Taste of big orange zest, tangerine, lemon zest, mango, pineapple, peach, floral, grass, light pine, light caramel, bread, and floral earthiness. Fair amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, mango, pineapple, peach, floral, grass, light pine, light caramel, and bread on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity of citrus/tropical hop flavors; with a moderate malt balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a highly excellent single hop IPA! All around awesome complexity of hop flavors with a moderate malt balance; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

Got this bad boy in a trade. 16oz can poured into a shaker. Pours a clear light amber with a finger of off white head. Aroma of grains and light citrus. Taste is light bitter. Earthy and herbal hops with some grains. Medium bodied with a slightly slick texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, pretty good. I’d drink it again.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear dark gold with a white head. Yeasty spicy aroma. Yeasty bubble gum flavor with pear and green apple. Nice drying finish. A tasty saison.
