Taster from 0,375l bottle in Sint-Truiden shared Nicklas. Brown color, no head. Smells honey, spices, berry notes. Full body, no carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Tastes berry notes, honey, light sherry, spices. Finishes medium sweet with notes of berries, honey and spices. very good, very intense, rather sweet, not totally my thing

(Bottle, 0.5l, at CoolHead Taproom, 20230601) The mead poured deep amber and hazy. No head. Vanilla, honey, wood and sweetness. Palate was full bodied and warming. Flavours honey, vanilla, wood, sweetness and mildly toasted notes. Aftertaste was sweet. Tasty.

Draught. Brownish amber colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is caramel, coffee, a bit fudge and some alcohol and spiciness. Flavour is alcohol, some coffee, caramel, mild spiciness with some bitter wooden tones too.

Bottled (thanks to tkrjukoff!). Pitch black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, some coffee, mild toasted tones with some herbal, mild alcohol sweetness as well as some toffee tones. Flavour is roasted malts, coffee, some herbal, mild chocolaty and some alcohol tones. Very smooth.
