Sampled at VCBF 2017. Thnx for sharing Eugene and Tim ! Pours black, not much head. Smell is sharp, crisp coffee. Taste is full, roasty. Intense coffee. Nice, but not great.

Thank you tderoeck! Sampled draft @ VCBF 2017. Black with no head. Nose is herbal, mocha, chocolate but also too umami, soy sauce, for me. Taste is soy sauce, umami, basic chocolate, coffee (less than you would expect), sugar, finishes sweet with sugar & sweet malt. Sweet finish really helped me as it balanced out the umami profile. Nice on its own but the ¡Ay Caramba! was vastly superior to me with its huge slab sweetness.
