Draught. Brownish amber colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is caramel, coffee, a bit fudge and some alcohol and spiciness. Flavour is alcohol, some coffee, caramel, mild spiciness with some bitter wooden tones too.

Thank you tderoeck! Sampled draft @ VCBF 2017. Dark seemingly touch murky brown with no head, not very appealing visually. Nose is dull sugar, herbal, oddly oxidized. Strange oxidized caramel, sugar, rather flat, not as coffee forward as hoped more leaves & oxidation, not the biggest success. Body is stale caramel. Odd. Not too sure as to what transpired here but it seems like I liked it more than others did.

Clear copper orange beer, no head. Aroma: sweet, lots of caramel, sweet malts, mocha, hint of coffee. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very malty, grains, cow fodder, bit metallic, touch of coffee indeed, some vanilla. Aftertaste: metallic, caramel, malty, grains.

19.05.2017, tap @ Bergen Craft Beer Festival:
Nice light brown creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is kind of neutral - slightly dry mineraly, weeds, minerals, bark, coffee, hay, grass, burnt sugar, yeast, alcohol, paper, candi sugar. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, weeds, yeast, bark, hay, grass, coffee, fresh wood, paper, minerals, almond essence, candi sugar. Medium bitterness, watery and harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.
