Bottle from local Polish shop – drank at home. Pours a slightly hazy brownish yellow with a sizeable but transient off-white head. The aroma has honey mixed with some continental hops. In the mouth it is sweet, sugary with a chewy texture and rough edges. Main flavour is an overload of honeycomb sweetness with fiery ginger undertones. Hints too of herbs and malts. This is rather strange – far too much honey, but somehow it works for me. At least it’s better than yet another macro lager – I’ll give them points for trying !

Bottle at restaurant in Dublin - thought it was something local at first; hazy, orange pour with a small white head. Aromas of malt, straw, a hint of citrus. Taste is mainly malt, (white) bread. Not bad, but also not memorable

I thought I tasted this before? Big 2$ cheap green 17 oz bottle of Lomza! Lid pop yields some of that skunky nose cabbage thing. Clear pale in a big mug. Decent white fading head. First taste is backup olfactory. Session is almost a sharp euro pils; never quite gets there. Barely any carbonation, but hey, it's there. Yea; that almost euro pils thing kindah starts to go phenolic; surprising in a euro. And immature? Certainly a little difficult; and rudely mannered. Well at almost 6%, it oughttah be for these paper bag specials. Do you think they put these in paper bags over in euro? You know, like a 20 of colt 45 for $2? Anyhow, this rude beer is mellowing out near the end, almost acceptable, almost; hehehehehh. Maybe that's why its 17 oz? To make sure you start to mello out before there's a chance to critique? Go lomzie jazne go! Watch out for that slight pointed rubber finish. In the end it does what it's sposed to do. OK

500ml can. Pours a clear gold with a large fluffy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of bready pale malt, apple and floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, honey and herbal hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and soft carbonation. Malt forward, could use more hops. Clean, crushable and not bad for what it is.
