Light orange with a foamy head that immediately fizzes away. Smells like a mango and citrus flavored vitamin drink. There’s a bittersweet to bitter taste underneath that, combined with a touch of spice, is reminiscent of a more traditional wheat ale. But the whole thing is subsumed in a sickeningly sweet finish. Body to the light side of medium, moderate carbonation. Feels in the end like a cheap, macro product.

With this beer rating, I have now rated a beer from every state in the United States of America. Thanks to Dave at Lower Merion Beverages in Ardmore, PA for hooking me up with this elusive New Mexico brew. Dave, you saved me from having to take a trip to New Mexico! 12 ounce can. Amber orange pour is topped by a rocky white head that leaves excellent lacing. Bready malt aroma has earthy hop notes. Flavor follows nose. Bready malt, mild citrus and resiny pine notes throughout. Great balance and flavor. Thanks again, Dave!

Brown with a creamy, white head. Caramel and hazelnut aroma. Taste is mildly sweet. Simple. Clean, refreshing feel but lacking a discernible hops profile. Drinkable.

Can Liz brought from Albuquerque. Pours translucent gold with a moderate creamy white head. Aroma has lots of citrus/resin over pale malt support and notes of melon or similar. Med body or better. Flavor is pretty much the aroma - adding some pungent spice resin notes. Towards juicy, but not sweet. Pretty bitter. Pretty good.

Can LIz brought from Albuquerque. Pours lightly hazy gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of spice/yeast/zest/coriander. Med body. Lots of carbonation. Flavor is the aroma, but the coriander is strong. Dry. Wheaty. Zest for bitter. Nice wit.
