I had a pint of 7K at a beer and burger place in downtown Santa Fe a few days ago. The beer was an opaque, dark gold liquid finished by a consistent top of wholly white foam. The smell was pine, hops and grass. And the taste, yes, nicely bitter with citrus, a big helping of hops and some dankness. Old school good.

On tap at Santa Fe, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light grassy hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is under-hopped, with crisp biscuity malt and a bit of grassy hops. Clean and easy but pretty underwhelming. Fine.
