I had a pint of 7K at a beer and burger place in downtown Santa Fe a few days ago. The beer was an opaque, dark gold liquid finished by a consistent top of wholly white foam. The smell was pine, hops and grass. And the taste, yes, nicely bitter with citrus, a big helping of hops and some dankness. Old school good.

On tap at Santa Fe, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright grapefruit and tangerine zest, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is citrusy, with nice grapefruit and tangerine notes. Bright and easy, but nothing special.

On tap at Santa Fe, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright citrusy hops upfront, with a crisp biscuity malt backbone. Flavour is bright, with citrus hops, light pine and crisp biscuity malt. Nice blonde IPA, with a thin malt backbone and pleasantly bitter citrus zest on the finish. Solid.

On tap at Santa Fe, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light grassy hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is under-hopped, with crisp biscuity malt and a bit of grassy hops. Clean and easy but pretty underwhelming. Fine.
