Ruby/brown beer with a thin white head. Aroma is resinous caramel and malt. Flavour is bittersweet. The caramel’s there, the resin too and a slightly citrus-y fruit edge to it as well.A very light sourness to it as well. It’s not spectacular but it’s very nicely balanced and definitely too drinkable for the strength!

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with small tan head. Aroma of oatmeal, coffee, rum, wood, light booze, licorice, vanilla and light piney hops. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of oatmeal, wood, vanilla and licorice. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Bit thin bodied. Nice.

Black colour, off-white head. Smoky aroma, whisky, liquorice (drop). Bitter flavour, light whisky, ash. Finish smoky whisky, ash, drop. Nice, a bit too ashy in the flavour for me, but otherwise really nice.

Reddish black colour, cream head. Roasted aroma, coffee, light vanilla, cacao. Light bitter, quite sweet malty flavour. Finish roasted malts, coffee, cacao and caramel. Nice.
