Tap @ Kaapse Fest, small sample. Hazy yellow to golden color, short head. Aroma has some citrus, bit tart, bit wheat, some leaves and funk. Soft sour taste. Bit thin. Ok.

Sampled draft @ “Kaapse Brouwers 1st Anniversary Beer Festival”. Black with almost no head. Nose is huge Bordeaux, very heavy & has a light glue-like quality, very vinous with liquorish, syrupy malts, faint molasses & alcohol. Taste is a mix of soy sauce & liquorish with thick Bordeaux with a strong glue-like quality, very vinous, very oily soy sauce, light booze in the back, faint charcoal & vinous roast,… Body is very oily, big wine, like thick soy sauce, very low carbonation. Okay beer but not really what it should be. A lot of things should be fine-tuned and investigated here.

On tap at the Kaapse beer festival. Thin tan head. Clear black pour. Some wine notes. Pretty good.
