Bottled, BB 20-11-2015, large sample. Served in a shaker. Hazy orange color, big frothy off-white head. Aroma is very fruity of the hops, peach, grapefruit, citrus, hint of pine. Slight caramelly hint of the malt. Medium bitter in taste, a bit sharpish, bit dry, slight sweet caramel. Lingering bitter palate. Lovely aroma, a bit unbalanced in flavor though. Nice beer.

Bottle courtesy of my next door neighbours Geraint & Helen, thanks very much! consumed at home Sunday 11th May 2014 Golden in colour with hazy appearance, huge white frothy head and very busy carbonation. Clean, fresh nose. I guess that this is a saison, it certainly tastes like one and a very good one at that! Tasty, fresh, refreshing beer with a little dryness at the end, light citrus a little soapy hoppiness and a nice spicy yeastiness complete the picture. Great beer, this is my second from Kaapse and I’ve enjoyed them both. Loz says the aroma reminded her of an old fashioned shandy bass, I know exactly what she means! Thanks again to Geraint & Helen our lovely next door neighbours. Intrigued to know where they picked this up from. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Tap @ CBC,14. Hazy amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, yeast, fruit and a little caramel. Flavour is malt, fruit, yeast, little caramel, little bitter and a little sweet.

Bottle @ ABC Beers. Opaque black color, full sized, dense, long lasting, creamy light brown head. Aroma is malts, roasted malts, hops, caramel. Taste malts, dark malts, roasted malts, very bitter, bitter hops, hops. Medium to full body, medium to full carbonation. Wow, quite impressive. Not completely balanced (imo the roasted malts lightly dominate the hops) but a very good attempt.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit sehr viel Schaum. Geruch fruchtig, Citrus, hopfig, würzig. Geschmack sehr würzig malzig, minimale Säure, Kräuter, hefig.

Draught @ CBC 2014. Pours hazy golden with a offwhite head, lacings. Aroma of malt, fruity hops, peach, passion fruit. Flavor is malts, fruity, peach, green apples. Medium body, lively carbonation, light bitter finish. 030514

Bottle @ Rooie Dop brew dungeon, thanks for sharing Mark. Black coloured with an off-white head. Nose is roasted malts, chocolate and mocha. Flavour is mocha, chocolate, roasted malts, oats, bit of liquorice, and a bit of yeast. Solid IS.
