Black Storm, where passion and artistry meet to create unforgettable craft beer experiences. Our journey kicked off with late-night brewing sessions and hard work to meet our dream of delivering the finest, premium craft beers that will captivate your taste buds and elevate your beer-drinking experience, all crafted and brewed in the North east of England.

Black Storm started in late 2017. The beers were initially contract brewed at Hadrian Border Brewery. In Spring 2019 the former site of Blackhill Brewery was purchased located at Unit 14 Stella Gill Industrial Estate, Pelton Fell and started brewing at it. Relocated in early 2022 to their current site. During Spring 2023 new management took over the brewey and started activities as Black Storm Beers. Same beers, same brewers, NEW management

Cam thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep amber with an edge of red. Beige and cream head. Nose - sour berry, liquorice and roast. Light chocolate. Taste - chewy blackberry and liquorice. Light lozenge. Palate - medium bodied, roasty and dry. Overall - good.

Can from the Black Storm brewery online shop. Pours clear dark brown with a thick off-white head. Aromas of blackcurrant and liquorice. Taste is sweet, blueberry. Light coffee finish.

440ml can from Brewery - Clear gold body, thin white ring of foam. Nose has tropicals, summer berries and citrus. Fresh taste, little bitterness on the way out. Decent effort.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - hazy orange with a big fluffy white head. Nose - fresh orange and peach. Fruit blossom. Bready too. Taste - orange and bready. Palate - light to medium bodied, creamy in texture. The bitterness on the finish is well measured. Overall - nice.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep brown to black. Thin beige. Nose - light smoke and earthy. Savoury. Taste - savoury and earthy, then smoky and light chilli spice. However, it's all engulfed in dark chocolate. Palate - medium bodied, creamy texture, light spicy edge. Overall - a bit earthy and a bit spicy. OK.
