Clear golden amber with a frothy white head and a berry fruit with a touch of pine aroma. Light bodied, sweet malt and berry fruit, hop bitterness, piney notes with a dry, bitter finish.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Clear gold with small white head. Notes of citrus, stone fruits, pine, light spiky hop finish. Smooth mouthfeel, light carbonation, easy drinking. Decent.

11/10/2024. Cask at Nottingham Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Pours clear bright amber with a small frothy off-white head. Good looking beer. Aroma is caramel, malt, flowers, orange, twiggy, hedgerow. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, very slightly sour. Moderate body, slightly oily, average to soft carbonation. Light drying finish. Likeable.

Third of a pint at the 32nd Shrewsbury Beer Festival on 26th September 2024. Mostly clear golden body, dull though, white bubbles sat on top. Didn't take to this at all, dirty dish water aroma and initial taste, some citrus notes but all a bit too late after the first sniff and sip.

The Otley boys are back ! Cask at Smithfield, Derby – fresh on as well. Pours golden yellow with minimal almost white head. Marmalade is noticeable in the aroma plus a trace of hops. In the mouth it is sweet, smooth and juicy with flavour of oranges and malts, Later on a little bitterness creeps in and hints of broccoli and stone fruit leading to a slightly dry finish. This is nice – much better than I was expecting.

Shared third of a pint at the 31st Shrewsbury Beer Festival in St Mary's Church on 28th September 2023. Hazed light golden body, weak white covering. Fruity nose and taste, leaning towards bitter citrus rather than piney hops.
