Canned (from Alko Web). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some toffee and mild spicy tones, chocolaty and syrupy. Still quite mild aromas. Flavour is mild smoked wooden tones with some liquorice, alcohol, sweetness and some toffee. Quite thin palate.

Can (from KSM Wasa, Vaasa). Yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is grains, grass, herbs and some wood. Flavour is cooked vegetables, grains, grass and earth.

Die Optik dieses Bieres macht einen ausgezeichneten Eindruck. Goldgelb bis leicht ocker mit einer schönen Opaltrübung und sehr feiner Perlage. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone ist flaumig bis fest, sehr stabil und überaus langlebig. Die Duftaromatik wirkt süßlich-getreidig und frisch-fruchtig-floral mit schönen Ansätzen von Blütenduft und Blütenhonig, aber auch Marille. Der Antrunk kommt weichspritzig, wirkt relativ dünn und fruchtig bis grasig herb. Am Gaumen zeigt sich ebenfalls ein eher dünner Körper mit zarter Aromatik von Weißbrot und leicht floralen Noten von Hollunderblüte bis Blütenhonig. Die Hopfennoten kommen dabei leicht fruchtig bis grasig herb. Auch wenn das Gesamtbild eher dünn erscheint, sind die Aromen absolut stimmig und harmonieren wunderbar. Mundgefühl und Süffigkeit verhalten sich dabei ganz gut. Im Nachtrunk wirken die süßlichen, getreidigen, malzigen bis honigartigen Noten gut nach und es dauert eine schöne Weile, bis sich eine zarte, grasige bis heuige Hopfenherbe einstellt. Mein Fazit: dünn, leicht gehopft, aber soweit ganz okay.

Flavour is spruce, some spiciness, mild toffee, grains and some herbal tones. Smooth palate, even though a bit on the watery side of things.
