330ml bottle. Opaque coal black body, fair tan-coloured head. Rich roasted malts on the nose, scent of dark chocolate. Mid-sweet flavours of cocoa, chocolate, wood and dried fruits added by mild lactose hints. Roasted ending, long-lived. Fine bodied. Powerful and nice (shared with djoeye and Skinnyviking, Tromsø 16.01.2015).

Thanks to rosenbergh for this bottle. Rated as Pyynikki Vahvaportteri. The beer starts sweetish. Fresh and sweetish. Malty and slightly dry. Lots of dark plums, red cherries, deep but sweetish. Fresh. The aftertaste is long, intense-malty, fresh, cherries, roast. Great!

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Hazy very dark brown, small beige head. Coffee and vanilla up front. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate, sawdust, vanilla and chocolate. Mid bitter finish.

Aroma has salmiac, licorice, fruity yeasty tones and some odd, familiar aroma. Also strawberry jam. Flavour has licorice, ashy tones, strawberry jam and tobacco. Finishes with strong juniper notes and warming alcohol kick. Quite ashy stuff.

Bottle 0.33l at Oluthuone Leskinen, Oulu. BBE 6/15. Colour is dark brown with almost no head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, spices, dryness and roasted malts. When warming up gets yeasty and notes of berries occurs.

Bottle from rosenbergh, many thanks Jan. Hazy orange golden color with thick white head. Strong citrus hoppy aroma with honey and malt. Tropical fruity taste with light hoppy bitterness, solid malty backbone. Unfortunately no carbonation, what decreased drinkability. It’s shame, because I like beers from this brewery.

33cl bottle. BBE 0615. Cola brown color, thin off white head, near flat. Roasted malty aroma, some lactose sweetness, some xmas spicy notes. Flavor has sweet dark malt, milk chocolate, some hint of licorice. Thin bodied. Quite ok actually.

Draught @ William K, kurvi. As Vahvaportteri. Black colored, espresso head. Nutty, chocolate, licorice and roasted malty aroma. Flavor has roastedness, dark chocolate, coffee notes, some talkkuna. Robust porter. Long finish, semidry. Decent enough.
