33 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Fruity and vague spiced to herbal. Bitter, citrusy, grassy and grapefruity hops flavoured. Subdued sweetness coming through.

Bottles. A hazy dark golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and spices. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of hops and grass as well as some malt, leading to an extremely bitter finish. Have never had this much Hallertauer hops at once - quite nice. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of oh6gdx. Pours a clear deep golden with a rough white head. Fat and juicy hop aroma - almost leathery. Medium body, rather discreet malt feel - everything is pretty much overpowered by the massive Hallartau hoppiness that starts flowery but quickly becomes extremely leathery and astringent leaving a massive bitterness. Dark brown, almost opaque color, decent creamy tan head, lace. Coffeish, dark malty, but sticky burnt aroma. Medium to full bodied. Black coffee, dark roasted malts, cocoa and milk sugar. Long toasted aftertaste. Drinkable, but quite straightforward.

(Draught at Hilpeä Hauki) Poured deep amber and hazy with small and white head. Aroma contained malts, sweetness, red currant and spruce needles. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were spruce, malts, sweetness, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and mildly bitter.

33cl bottle from Eat&Joy. Pours golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is bit hoppy and fruity. Flavour is mostly bitter hops. Ends dry. Very nice pilsener.

33cl bottle from Maatilatori. Batch#333 (bb 2/2010)Pours hazy orange color with almost no head. Aroma is fruity and bit spicy. Flavour mostly hops and fruity. Nicely bitter and dry aftertaste. Another nice one from Stadin panimo.

Bottle from Maatilatori (batch #331) BB 2/2010. Pours dark orange color, almost no head. Aroma is flowery and fruity. Flavour is mostly fruity hops. Bit watery though. Low carbonation. Nice bitter aftertaste. Enjoyable.

(Draught at Olutkellari Helsinki) Poured black with medium sized and light brown head. Aroma contained roastedness, coffee, liquorice and sourness. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were roastedness, hops, ash, sourness, bitterness and hint of coffee. Aftertaste was dry, ashy and bitter. A really good brew from StaPa. Well done.
