Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds juicy hops, mango, melon, peach and orange. Medium to heavy sweet flavour, with some pale bread, light bitter pine, more citrus. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming and resinous on the finish, with some ripe orange, light marmalade, more pale, bready malts. Nice one overall.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear orange with a small, foay white head. Big citrus fruit aroma - as in, comically so. Light sweet flavour with lots of bitter rind, oily orange peel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Harsh bitterness in the finish, more heavy rind, excessive zest. A little rocky.

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a deep copper color with a bubbly to semi-foamy off white head. Dissipates quickly and barely leaves any lace.
The aroma had some old school caramel malt up front with a light earthy to piney hop bitterness. Subtle citrus rind underneath.
The flavor takes the previously mentioned aromas to blend decently. Light blended malt to hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Same in the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation felt fine along with the ABV.
Overall, decent DIPA, I could do this again if handed, but not really one to go out of my way for.

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a soft brown/amber color with a creamy colored fingerβs worth of semi-foamy head. Sly speckled lace.
The aroma had a soft sweet blend of toffee, caramel, light cereal grains and a touch of nuttiness. Floral hops. Vanilla bean. And then a whiff of allspice. Light bread at the end.
The flavor blended all of the previously mentioned aromas together soft and sweet adding just a touch of some dark fruits as it warms. All seems to blend gently on into the aftertaste and lead into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt right.
Overall, pretty nicely done old ale that I could have again. Reading some of the other reviews makes me feel lucky I got a good bottle, Iβm suspecting there may be some off batches of this.

12oz can, pours totally black but thin, nice espresso lacing, tan, thick 2 finger head. smells smokey, chocolatey and delicious. Very stout and presence is big. Very dense thick mouthfeel, no carb tingles or bubbles. Very smokey, unsweetened chocolate, spice and candy corn.

Bottle at home in NH. Picked up from the brewery, pours clear orange-gold with a frothy, pure white head. Crackery pale malts in the nose, lemon peel, pine needles. Light sweet flavour with some rindy bitterness, dry pale crackers, grass, pale grain husk. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes with more pine needles, grains and crackers, more lemon peel, faint pithy grapefruit. So so overall.
