Can to tulip.
Appearance: copper color with a decent transparency about it, two finger white foamy head dissipated nicely to leave some light messy lace
Aroma: floral, citrusy, slight tropical fruity and slight piney hop character with some orange marmalade tones and a slight biscuity to caramel-ish maltiness
Flavor: blends the prior mentioned aromas to a nice bittersweet conglomeration and leading into a light aftertaste of piney to floral and citrusy hop character
Texture: medium bodied, nice sipper; medium carb, semi-smooth along tongue with subtle hop abrasion; finishes piney and floral hoppy
Overall: a nicely done WC styled DIPA I would bang again.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: slightly cloudy copper to golden amber with a subtle transparency about it, a one and a half fingers of white foamy head dissipated after a little bit and left some light lace
Aroma: juicy citrusy hops with some orange marmalade, subtle tobacco leafy tones, and a touch of earthy hops then that meshes with a caramel/toffee malt backbone
Flavor: bittersweet all the way through and providing an extra under layer of piney/resiny hoppiness; light aftertaste of citrus, oranges and piney tones
Texture: medium to full bodied, she's definitely a sipper; fairly smooth along my tongue; some hop harshness but nothing really showing flaws; finishes bittersweet through citrusy/piney tones and caramel/toffee malts
Overall: wow, so a Quadruple IPA, yes, I know not an accepted style (or at least not yet) but I say it works as that ABV does come across as noticeable.

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: thick dark brown close to black color with a two and a half fingers of off-white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: roasty coffee beans, smooth milk chocolate and an ample amount of hazelnut
Flavor: combines all the prior mentioned aromas, light hazelnut and chocolate aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, decent as a sipper, semi-smooth on tongue; finishes with some hazelnut and chocolate
Overall: pretty nicely done milk/sweet stout I'd have again.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: golden yellow to copper color with a one and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely and left some messy lace
Aroma: citra hops all the way, clean stiff malts
Flavor: mildly bittersweet blending the hops to the malts, semi-quick aftertaste of Citra hops
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, Citra hop zing on the tongue, mild finish of some Citra hop abrasion
Overall: not a bad pale ale, it's one I think I could come back to.

Day10 of the Beer Republic Advent calendar, drunk after getting the new bass to a playable state. I love all the pickups! The beer if from July. Mostly clear, crisp nose with caramel and light pine. Mild lemony citrus joins in the flavor, sharp but not overwhelming bitterness. West coast styles definitely age better than hazys!

US Pint can at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malt. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a fresh, crisp, toffee caramel, light mineral, earthy, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A rather simple beer, but tasty and quite refreshing.
