Can. Clear amber, 2cm white head lasts well. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, breadcrust. Sweet with a fair bit of caramel. But clean and not saggy with tenor register citrus oozing out towards a somewhat resinous bitter finish. A bit of a throwback but good all the same. Strongish for what it offers, but that's part of the style, right?

US Pint can from Kura’s Krafts US beer festival. Poured a clear medium amber colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a smooth, fresh, toffee apple, somewhat rich, hop bitter palate. Over medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can from Beer Republic. Aroma is piney hops with citrus, grapefruit, biscuity malt, pine resin, touch of caramel. Flavour is bitter with a light sweetness. Medium body. A very classic bitter West Coast IIPA, piney and grapefruit hops, good.

Can, 0.457l. Aroma of ripe mango, citrus, melon, flowers and resin. Pours cloudy golden color with thin creamy off-white head, good lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet caramelly, resinous and herbal, following is medicinal and bready, mouthfeel is spicy and astringent, while finish is heavy bitter. Medium to full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Deep hoppy shot…

Can from Beer Republic. Clear golden, small, frothy, white head. Aroma of grapefruit peel, ripe mandarin, pineapple, pine nuts, flowers, melon, onion, vague herbs, dill. Taste has sweetish mandarin & pineapple, vague mango; turning quite bitter towards grapefruit, citrus peel & pine, bit herbal too over basic bready & biscuity maltiness. Resinous hoppy finish, very dry & bitter, grapefruit peel again and tonic water, still somewhere herbal-flowery too; hidden gin-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Classic IPA yet a tad more complex, very satisfyingly bitter.

Goed bitter, flinke wat dennenhars, clean, harsige hop. Lekker hoor.

Ein Traum im Glas, toller Schaum. Im Trunk mit ordentliche Bumps, ziemlich alkoholisch. Ansonsten recht erdig.

Golden colour with lasting head. There's genuine malt body supporting this DIPA. Hops are earthy, piney, herbal and give a rounded bitterness. The full body carries the beer very well. The bitterness grows and grows in the aftertaste.
