Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 2B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L411N (BBF 10/20). AROMA: medium toffee-like malt notes, followed by medium-low to low cereal husk. overall medium background of fruity esters from fermentation. APPEARANCE: amber color and clear. medium off-white head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with initial medium fruity esters (ripe oranges, candied pears), followed by medium-low toffee-like malt and faint cereal husk. medium bitterness with a semi-dry to dry finish. PALATE: medium to medium-light body with medium carbonation. slight alcohol warmth. OVERALL: a not very clean lager fermentation-wise.
