Bottle shared with my friend brother and my girlfriend on the second day of our Christmas. Aroma is whisky and wine barrels, wood, chocolate, dark malts, coffee. Full body. Flavour is quite sweet, slightly bitter, dark malts, lots of chocolate and some coffee, prune, fig, brown sugar, lots of vanilla, bourbon and port, especially in the finish. Excellent impy, best Peruvian beer I've had.

12oz pour, murky gold, white head. Nose has some hop and some malt. It's a bit ham fisted but could be worse. Flavor has malt and dried citrus.

Bottle (615ml?!) my brother brought from Peru. Pours black with a small head. Aroma is lots of dark malts, intense cacao, some wood, port wine. Full body, smooth. Flavour is loads of dark malts, cacao, medium bitterness, some vanilla, some wood, light vinous note. Nice, no milk stout note but good. D

12oz pour is a murky orange with some creamy, white head. Malty nose, bread, caramel, soap and orange peel. Flavor is piney and malty with some soap. Full bodied, bitter finish.

At the April DC Ratebeer tasting. Poured a moderately clear yellow-orange color with a small white head. Aroma was grassy, light sweet malts. Some light fruity malts, sweet citrus.

Bottle pour at the April DC Ratebeer tasting. Poured a golden color with a large white head. Aroma was sweet candy, floral hops. Grassy notes, with some very light funk. Alcohol pretty well masked.
