375ml can from BWS, Lane Cove, Sydney. Poured a slightly hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, fresh, light grassy, woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

375ml can from BWS Lane Cove, Sydney. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, orange tangerine. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, fresh, mineral, juicy tart orange citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Ok, but not as juicy as it could have been.

Can, Aldi. Muddy brown with a fat coat of off-white head. Pineapple and pine aroma with some boot polish. Some caramel in the taste too. I can't think it's supposed to be like this. Best before 11/25 (!). Drain.

Can. Just misted golden amber with an inch of white head that lasts pretty well. Aroma of grapefruit and orange peel, light bread, some floral notes. Bittersweet straight away with light bread, lots of citrus and medium high bitterness. Solid drop.

Can. Just unclear gold with a cm of white head. 3+ Dull aroma is grainy, slightly earthy with some peach. Moderately sweet. Tastes as it smells with a bit of spice coming through in the modestly bitter finish. Ordinary.

Can. This one is 3.5%. Pale gold with a frothy cm of white head. Aroma of mandarin, crackers, some passionfruit. Light bodied, pretty empty. Citrus on top of a little sweet crackery malt, dryish finish is slightly bitter. OK.

375ml can into pint glass. From BWS, Glen Innes (Bargain Bin 4 for $10). Amber beer with high carbonation and large head of sticky foam. Nose of guava, passionfruit and malt. Slight fizz. Flavour is all fruit, no beer. Finish is cloying sweetness, zero bitterness. It looks like beer but that's it.

(Can) Pours a rather unappealing murky amber brown with tiniest head. Aroma is ginger and pleasant. Light bodied and fizzy. The taste is ginger beer with some lemon candy hints. It is not at all apparent that this is a beer. There’s both sweet and sour but for me it is rather on the sweet side, although not as much as many ginger beers. It’s a pleasant ginger beer but a disappointing ginger and lemon flavoured beer.

375ml can into pint glass. From BWS, Glen Innes. Looks like creek water, murky brown with zero head. Smells like lemon and ginger lollies. Very light, no carbonation. Slight zing in the finish, lingering lemon and hints of ginger. Easy to drink but not very beer-like.
