We like to think we are creative, wise, playful and a bit bird-brained; just like those wacky Ravens.

375ml bottle pours out a golden topped with a white head. Nose is big floral Brett notes and some wood. Taste is more of the heavy floral notes Brett and a nice end.

Draft 12 oz pour at Black Raven. Golden copper pour with a thin foam head. Very quiet arms for a fresh hop. Flavor is odd plastic hops that overpower the malt bill. Creamy, citrus bitter, big grassy. Odd mouthfeel and flavor linger here. I love a fresh hop, but I feel like the balance is very off here. Dank, but too much. A rare miss in the rare birds series.

Draft 7 oz pour at Black Raven. Caramel copper color pour with a disappearing head. Sweet brown sugar, maple and autumn spice aroma. Flavor is all of the same with an obvious bourbon presence. A smooth supper of a beer that shouldn’t be paired with the hot sauce from the taco truck outside. Oops. Overall a solid beer. Intriguing flavor. Would appreciate this more if it were colder outside. Well executed fall beer here.

Draft pour pint at Growler USA. Super clean and clear golden pour with an active fizz head. Hippy, leaning vegetal aroma. Flavor is more pleasant, sweet malt covered by earthy hop content. Creamy body, sweet caramel. Not a bad IPA, but slightly less interesting than their usual lineup. Fits more in with the standards.

Pours solid black with a tall dark head. Strong bitter coffee aroma, dry roasted malt, earthy, chocolate and molasses. Medium body. Flavor follows the aroma path with intensely bitter roasted malts, coffee, cocoa, some light burnt malt. Finish is dry as a bone and rather bitter. The booze is hidden well, just a slight warming in the finish. A nice Impy.

650 ml bottle. Pours amber with moderate head. Aromas of sweet malts, muddled tropical fruit, dough and limes. Flavors of peppery citrus, tropical fruit spruce, doughy malts and dill. Light bitter spicy finish. Super stuff.

Pour from a bomber at Imazato. Nose of pine, grapefruit, biscuit. Hazy gold with a fine head. Tangy, citrus flavor, nice malt background. Peppery hop finish. Huge flavors for a 5% beer. Love it.

650 ml bottle. Pours a clear dark brown with reddish notes and full head. Aromas of nuts. sugar and oily roasted malts. Flavors of nutty milk chocolate, light coconut, and dry roasted malts. Very dry for the ABV. Nice.
