Draft 13 oz pour at Black Raven Woodinville. Enjoyed side by side with the West Coast IPA. Dense, juicy haze with tons of sticky lacing. Juicy constant, tropical front on aroma and flavor. Some pineapple juice. Drinks rather light for a borderline imperial. Smooth taste. Fruity forward imperial hazy here. Overall, quite enjoyable. #hazyisnotaflavor

Draft pour pint enjoyed at Black Raven Woodinville. Tried side by side with their hazy. I'll choose this side of the style every time. Clean and clear, shiny golden appearance. Patchy thin head. Subtle biscuit malt nose with some hints of citrus hop character. A bit of a bite up front, bitter but also a tad juicy. Some grapefruit hints, grassy hops, bold malt lingering palate. A little crisp here. Classic style with classic hops. Will never tire of it.

Can from Tavour. Pours darkest brown with brown head that fades to a collar. Aroma is dominated by roasted coffee and chocolate. Sweetness from the caramel. Flavor leans into the roast and cold pressed coffee. Moderate high bitterness.

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Black pour, thick brown head settled out to a small creamy cap. Rich roasty malt aroma, notes of chocolate. Taste is bittersweet, roasty, dark chocolate, coffee. Nothing fancy here, a simple stout done very well.

16 oz. Aroma has notes of coffee, chocolate, caramel, wet stone, dark bread, herbal hops. Pours inky black with a half finger tan head that falls into a ring somewhat quickly. Taste is mildly sweet and highly bitter for style--like good black coffee. Nice velvety mouthfeel. Great and welcoming in that there's significant bitterness here, and just enough sweetness to prevent acridity. I've had enough sickly sweet sugary stouts recently to last me a lifetime. This is a nice change of pace.
