Description
We are two brothers, in love with the world of beer for several years. It was by brewing at home that we decided in 2009 to make it our profession.
La Barbaude is a family-owned craft brewery. We develop our beer recipes and then manufacture them in our premises with respect for brewing traditions. In the heart of the city of Nîmes (500 m from the train station and the arena), the brewery is at the crossroads of different local cultures: Languedoc, Cévennes, Camargue, Rhône Valley ... Regularly, we will present new beer recipes inspired by products of these terroirs.

Bottle picked up in the Carmargue, Southern France, June 2013 consmed at home Sunday 27th October 2013 Light gold in colour, fairly typical example of the style, a little flinty in mouth, bit dry in fact quite a bit dry, a little wheatiness but not too much, fine. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Purchased this from a small shpp in Saintes Marie de la Mer, Camargue, Southern France, consumed at home Sat 29th June 2013 Pours hazy dirty washing up water yellow with a few small yeasty particulates in suspension, the head is clean and white. Despite the distinctly average/below average looks the aroma and flavour is quite decent. Soft in mouth there is a little ginger amongst a light spicy warmth on the tongue. I can’t detect the Camargue rice, but this does have a slightly mineral maltiness to it with a pilsner like finish. A steady bitterness and dry to finish it is not bad at all. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov13 3.2
