330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, dark malty aroma with weak metallic overtones, notes of coffee, coffee grounds. Taste is dry and bitter, roasty dark malty, notes of coffee, roasted coffee beans, some "green coffee", coffee surrogate, a touch of celery.
Watery texture with an oily strand, slightly dry, simultaneously minimally greasy palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Quite some subtleties and different "coffee" flavours, not all of them really appealing, relatively complex - not bad.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, copper-ish, brown colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Caramel malty and spicy aroma with a minimally soapy touch, notes of allspice, ginger, aniseed, sime clove, a touch of nutmeg. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, spicy and slightly yeasty fruity, hints of dried fruit, raisin, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, some clove. Watery texture, smooth, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation. Heavily, still well spiced, nice fruitiness - good.

I like this! The hops go perfectly with the cardamom, pimento, and pine needle tips. I like the name, too, a pun on "Stille Nacht" (the German and Dutch title of "Silent Night").

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierothek' (online), best before November 2026. Hazy, reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently yeasty, rather herbal-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of caramel, honey, ginger, cinnamon, licorice root and some clove. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, rather herbal-spicy, gently yeasty and slightly fruity taste of caramel, honey, some banana, clove, aniseed, ginger, cinnamon and some licorice root, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, fairly herbal-spicy finish. Medium to full body, smooth but fairly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice Christmas ale, very spicy though, surely not to everyone's liking.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierothek' (online), best before May 2025. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral aroma of orange, mango and some rubber. Gently sweet, rather fruity-floral, slightly resiny taste of orange, mango, even some pine, some rubber and hints of corn flakes, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Colud have been very nice, has some unpleasant rubber flavours unfortunately.
