0.33 l bottle from Brauerei Flügge's web shop, Calvados edition 2020, best before November 2023. Minimally hazy, deep reddish amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity aroma of caramel, Calvados, raisins, some molasses and a touch of cinnamon. Quite sweet, malty, gently fruity taste of caramel, Calvados, raisins, chocolate, dark honey, some wood and hints of cinnamon, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, gently boozy and slightly woody-dry finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Great flavours, lovely Calvados smell (maybe my favourite barrel for aging), just a little thin unfortunately. Still very tasty and finally something different!

0.33 l bottle from Brauerei Flügge's web shop, brewed with Galaxy and Mosaic, best before October 2021. Minimally hazy, deep reddish amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, quite fruity-resiny aroma of orange jam, mango and some pine. Quite sweet, moderately bitter, quite resiny and gently fruity taste of orange jam, pine, mango, some grapefruit and traces of tobacco, followed by a medium long, quite bitter, resiny finish. Medium to full body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Tasty old school DIPA!

Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear golden, small head. Bready grassy nose. Dry with light body and crisp, rounded mouthfeel. Bready malts, slight floral hops. Mid bitter finish.

330ml bottle [3.5% abv]. Slightly cloudy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly grainy, minimally bready, malty and slightly citrusy fruity aroma, hints of white bread, lemon, old lemon peel. Taste is citrusy fruity, slightly zesty, weak, minimally bready, pale malty basis, hints of lemon juice, old lemon peel. Watery texture, minimally dry, astringent palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Light, watery, refreshing; way better than a Radler due to the total lack of sugary sweetness - nice summer beer.
