Helau from Meenz ;) - a couple bottles over the past weeks. Clear golden, lovely, stable dense white head. Aroma of light sweet malts, minimal toast, light white bread, hints of caramel. The bohemian malts give a nice little twist to the pilsner malt grist. Mild noble hop bitterness with light hop aromas of grassey, earthy herbal notes. Smooth carbonation. Perfect for Fassenacht.

330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy to macropore, collapsing, white head. Weak, vinous fruity, minimally strawy, pale malty aroma, hints of white grapes, white grape juice, some mineral spiciness. Taste is dry, vinous fruity, minimally strawy pale malty, a grassy hoppy touch as well, hints of white grapes, yellow apple, some pear; lingering, fruity, slightly mineral finish. Oily-watery texture, slightly dry palate, coarse, prickly carbonation. Not a fan of these wine and beer hybrids (with the exception of some Flügge brews) - so-so.

44cl can. A hazy golden beer with a off white head. Aroma of grassy and citrusy hops, grapefruit, pineapple. Taste of citrusy hops, grassy bitter hops, yeast, yellow fruits.

33cl bottle. A clear golden beer with a big white head. Aroma of mid sweet grainy malt, straw and mild spicy hops. Taste of mid sweet grainy malt, biscuit, straw, traces of honey and caramel. Moderate bitterness.

Depp creamy woody beginning. Easy to drink, slightly sourish with a nice and deep fruitiness. Wood is there, mild malty bock in the back. very smooth and round. Nice.

Fruchtiger, würzig hopfig-bitterer Beginn. Erhöhte Karbonisierung, ansteigende Bitterkeit, nicht sonderlich süffig. Spritzig, trocken bitter im Mittelteil, Hafer, weicher Hintergrund. Geringe Süße, langer hopfiger Abgang, nach wie vor intensiv bitter. 10/11/9/11/13/11
