10-04-20 // growler from the brewery. Hell yeah! Pampel Booze with rosemary. Lively grapefruit forward dry IPA with good rosemary aromas. Very well balanced. Good bitterness. Westcoast style. Lovely.

0,33 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Listed with 6.5 abv on he label. Hazy red golden with an nearly two finger frothy head in the glass. My first smell impression was perfumed. Herbs, intensive flowers and sweet thinks like honey and resin. Taste is strange, hop bitterness and a lot of medical herbs. Sorry, definitive not my cup of tea.

09-04-20 // growler from the brewery. Wir sind Mainzer! Murky medium brownish. Fine beige head quickly fading. A bit low on carbonation. Rich malty. Mild caramel malt aromas. Very mild roasted. Not much of the hops. Very low citrus peel aromas. Good body. Easy but lacks a punch.

0,33 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Unclear bright copper in the glass with a two finger pale beige head. Raspberry smell with some pale grain. Dry raspberry taste at the start, more pale grain in the second part. Fruity stuff.

Again a 0,33 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Unclear golden with a nearly two finger head n the glass. Strange smell mix of tropical hop and herbs. Taste starts more on the IPA side but increasing medical herbal in the second part. Finishes definitive as an IPA with fruity sweetness, pine and licorice. Roller coaster drive.

Thanks a lot to Erzengel for that 0,33 l bottle. Unclear bright copper in the glass with a more than one finger head. Nutty caramel smell with some fruity elements. Taste starts with a fruity alcoholic bitterness, some cherry, caramel, sweetness. Little bit dry. Alcoholic sharpness to the end. Okay.

04-04-20 // growler from the brewry. Yet another Kuehn tap only special. Very well done. Fits the style and can compete with proper Belgian ones. Murky light brownish. Fine pored minimal beige head. Raisin malty nose. Full bodied mouthfeel. Well carbonated. Aroma is rIch malty. Dried fruits, raisins. Light phenolic. Good yeast aromas. Very nice.

0,33 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot. Unclear pale golden in the glass, some bigger sediments are floating around. One finger white head. Citrus and some yeast smell. Taste starts with citrus and pale grain, dry. Watery. More yeast an dry bitterness in the aftertaste. Above average carbonation. Okay for that low abv.

Bottle from Gabriel/Erzengel Cheers. Spicy but sweet gingerbread aroma. Dark opaque brown. Creamy beige head recedes quickly. Initial sweey tinged sourness develops a bitter edge. Spicy. Gingerbread and coffee. But dialed up a bit too high for my liking. Light-medium bodied. Relatively thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long astringent finish. OK. A bit in her face. Not been too keen on tonka.

Thanks a lot to Erzengel for that 0,33 l bottle. I´m skeptical to be honest. Unclear pale golden in the glass, small fast fading head. Smells like Naturradler. Taste is a mix of watery beer an wine. Getting a little bit dry. Also some sweetness. High carbonated. Okay, drinkable ...
