Draft at the source. Hazy yellowish color white head. Light berry and stonefruit aroma. Taste is tart pomegranate. Maybe a bit too tart for me but decent enough

Dark purple-blue pour with white lacing on the glass. Malty aroma, some limited lactose. Blueberry taste, some stone fruit, classic Berliner lactic notes. Palate has light lactic smack to it, more lingering fruit. Quite good.

Taster pour on tap at CT Brew Fest. It's a clear, light brown-amber with no sparkle, ring of beige head with trace lacing. Aroma is strong caramel and roasted malt--like comforting toast. Taste follows aroma. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, strong aroma and flavor--a not-too-shabby Marzen!

Pours black with a tan thin ring of head. Aroma of rich coffee. Taste has bitter coffee notes. Palate has hop oils, burnt malt. Eh.
