Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, orange - citrus, resin notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, hoppy, wood, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121214]

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, peach, pear. (Draught at Oluttupa Viisi Penniä, 20130419) The beer poured copper coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had exotic fruits, pine and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, exotic fruits, sweetness, pine and bitterness. Aftertaste had hops, molasses and bitterness. Nice malty IPA.

Pours reddish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of sweetish floral hops, caramel and hay notes. Taste is smooth, stingy and caramely with dry bitterness and hints of floral hops. Finish is smooth and sweetish with surprisingly smooth hop bite. Quite nicely hopped, but a bit light bodied IPA.

Stubby bottle. Gusher. Pours with a hazy amber hued body with a massive just off-white head. Aromas are of caramel, bready malt, sunflower seeds, low spicey and fruity hops, canned fruit cocktail, canned pineapple. Sweet. Flavors are of a lot of of sweetness, tons of caramel malt, low oxidation (and this is a new beer...bottling issues?), oxidized hops. Rough, mild cardboard and coconut. Definitely not the crisp lager with judicous perle hops that I was hoping for. Medium carbonation, somewhat disturbing pH, medium dry. Not good.
