Cask @ Montgomery’s Tower, Shrewsbury. Pours amber, white head. Extremely thin malt character, light nuttiness, some vague sweet elements, but generally rather poor.

Cask handpull at Penderals Oak jdw. Clear gold brown colour lasting beige head. fairly standard session bitter. Decent mix of yeast malt and hops goddess condition and temp. Some warming malt fruit. Light hops on the finish. Decent

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Amber with a thin white head and a gentle effervescence. Berries and malt throughout. Simple, easy drinking fruity bitter. Worked for me.

Pendle Beer Festival 2016. Deeper amber in colour. Bitter with a low bitterness and some light toffee malts.

Tried at the Three Horseshoes, Waddington. Deep brown colour with a white head. Fruity and malt aroma and taste also a touch of toffee. Nice.

Tried at the strugglers inn, Lincoln. Dark ruby colour with a tan head. Fruity with a light caramel taste. Decent body.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2015, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Pheasantry Best Bitter ].Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150812]
